Sex and the Senior - Sizzling Senior Sex Counts on Knowledge About Adult Sexuality

Sex and sexuality change as we grow older.

It is no surprise to you that as we age things change with our bodies. These changes can affect our sense of our sexual self and impact sizzling senior sex.

"If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing then ignorance is a disaster"

The following are normal physical and emotional changes for men and women caused by aging. We must be knowledgeable and proactive to achieve SSS:

==> Menopause imposes major physiological changes in a woman's body and psyche.

Physical changes may include hot flashes, vaginal dryness, decreased orgasmic ability, insomnia, and weight gain or loss. Emotional changes may include increased irritability, mood swings, and loss of libido.

Women who have defined themselves as a mother, in the sense of baby making, may find it very difficult to give up that belief about themselves. A terrible false belief in our culture is once a woman is past menopause she is old with all the accompanying stereotypes. Spouses who still believe this is all in her head are dumb as a post or refuse to become informed. When the female body stops making estrogen all these things can happen.

Be in the know.

==> Male menopause is debated among health professionals.

Abraham Kryger, M.D. describes it as andropause or hypogonadism resulting from lower production of testosterone as men age. Physical changes may include the absence of nocturnal and early morning erections, secondary impotence, delayed erectile response, partial or soft erections, reduced ejaculate and loss of libido.

Secondary impotence can occur as a result of depression, stress, surgery, or medication. Secondary impotence is often associated with aging and the issues above, and is usually transient. It is to be distinguished from primary impotence, which is usually an early onset condition requiring medication and psychotherapy.

Loss of libido and secondary impotence in men are often exacerbated by their choosing alcohol as the treatment of choice for these challenges of aging. It is more socially acceptable for men to drink too much than to admit depression and seek professional help.

Don't suffer in silence. SSS may be a fact away.

Why Does My Vagina Smell So Bad? How Do I Get Rid of My Bad Smelling Vagina in One Day?

Question? Why does my vagina smell so bad? How do I get rid of my smelly vagina? And this is usually followed by having a very itchy vagina. This is a question that 1/3 of all women have ask at one point in their lives. If you have a smelly vagina it is a very terrible and embarrassing condition for you to have, and to deal with. The smell can be so strong that it emanates everywhere you go, and it makes everyone around you think that you don't have good hygiene, but obviously you do. The embarrassing smell can even make you refrain from wanting to have an intimate encounter or a romantic moment with your partner. You have asked the question why does my vagina smell so bad? And I am here to too tell you why. And also help you learn how you can eliminate that odour in one day.

A pungent odour emanating from your vagina is one of the characteristic of bacterial vaginosis, or yeast infection. This means you have more bad bacteria in your vaginal area than good bacteria which normally fights off the bad bacteria. It is specifically the bad bacteria, that has built up in your vagina causing the bad smell.

Now you can visit your doctor and ask them why does my vagina smell? And they will prescribe an antibiotic for you to take. This may be good at first, but antibiotics eliminate bacteria, this means the bad will be eliminated, but the good bacteria that helps clean and protect your vagina will also be eliminated. Leaving you open unprotected, and open to the virus all over again.

So that should answer your question, why does my vagina smell? And here are a few home remedies that you can try out if you like. These remedies may work for you, but may also take longer than some other tried and proven methods.

1. Eat natural plain yogurt. Yogurt contains good bacteria. Do this every daily to keep a high level of good bacteria in your system. For immediate relief , dip a tampon in the yogurt and insert it into your vaginal canal.

2. Boil your underwear in hot water. Washing them will not completely get rid of your problems, because bacteria, likes to hide.

3. Wear undergarments that breathe, and don't suffocate your vagina. Wearing stuffy undergarments will create a perfect place for the fungus to return.

4. Don't use perfumed soaps ect, this will only irritate your situation more.

Breast Pain After Breast Cancer Surgery Or Radiation Therapy - Nurse's Report

If you're currently a breast cancer patient or survivor as I am you may be interested in a new study. If you're scheduled for or you've had any kind of breast radiation treatment or breast cancer surgery including radiation therapy, axillary lymph node dissection (lymph node removal), and/or breast conserving surgery, you may be interested in knowing about the recent study done by Danish scientists regarding breast pain.

The study was revealing and confirms what many women with breast cancer who've had surgery or other breast procedures think. The pain they're having in their breast or breasts is directly related to the treatment, therapy or surgery they had even if it occurs two years later.

The scientists were able to confirm that at least half of 3000 women in the study had experienced this pain. It's not likely that the women were aware they would be experiencing this post-radiation therapy or post-surgical pain or at least not two years later.

Following surgery, the average length of time when the pain started, was about two years. The pain was moderate to severe and only one in five of the women had told her doctor about it.

In breast cancer patients or survivors not in the study, the likelihood of reporting this breast pain to their doctors, went up if they were younger women or if they had several breast procedures, specifically radiation therapy, axillary lymph node dissection and/or surgery to conserve the breasts. It's not known how many women have never reported this pain not realizing there may be a connection.

It's already known that lymphedema can occur following lymph node dissection and women can feel a golf-ball size or tennis-ball size lump in their armpit, causing pain and discomfort ongoing.

There is a nerve that runs under the arm that may have been damaged while doing some of these breast cancer therapies, procedures or surgeries, in turn causing the breast pain later.

Doctors who know about the study may try to find ways to avoid damaging these nerves however there may be doctors and surgeons who aren't aware of this new study. If you're scheduled for any type of breast cancer surgery or radiation therapy, you may want to discuss this study with your doctor to make sure he or she is aware of it. You may be able to save yourself a lot of breast pain down the road. Also, many women today find they have more options and are choosing alternative treatments or methods for a more natural route to curing breast cancer, as I did, many years ago.

Safe Simple "Healthy Vagina" Solutions - The Perfect Vagina

Healthy Vagina - If the whole of my body is already healthy from doing exercise, eating proper foods and working out in the gym, then why is it so important that the vagina is singled out and kept healthy too? Is the vagina not part of the whole body? This is a good point and to help clarify the confusion, the vagina is an organ of the body that has its own need for personal maintenance. Because the vagina is out of sight for most of the time, it is however, forgotten about that is, until it gets itchy sweaty or smelly.

If the vagina is in a healthy state, it is then you can say the "whole" of the body is in tip top condition.

As an important part of the woman`s body, the vagina needs as much care to hygiene. It is surprising how it is neglected of basic care. Not always intentionally. The ways to maintain the vagina are really quite simple and easy to initiate

In general your overall health will contribute to keeping a healthy vagina. Consider more yoghurt and lessen sugar throughout the day. Yogurt contains good bacteria called acidophilus. While sugar, encourages a particular bacteria that the yogurt destroys.

Cleanliness - Most reasons for vaginal infections occurring is through sweat and oils buildup. Wash regularly. Avoid douching as it is to thorough and not necessary. While a douche may take bad bacteria, it in contrast takes more of the good which is not healthy. Douching can also lead to increased inflammation (vaginitis). The inside of the vagina need not be bathed because it's constantly flushing itself. The only reason that you might have consider douching is if you're trying to get pregnant or want to alter the vagina`s pH for a greater good.

Condoms also help keep your vagina clean. Having unprotected sex often can lead to vagina problems as well as the obvious pregnancy and STDs.

Cotton is breathable fabric and best to be worn round the genital area. Wearing cotton allows the air to circulate which frees the skin resulting in freshness.

Leaving a tampon for more than six hours is not healthy. It can cause a toxic syndrome. Sanitary towels should also be changed regular according to circumstance. Pads can cause serious irritation. Inserting objects even tampons into the vagina can cause damage. Safe insertion of a tampon should be done when you have made yourself comfortable Find the most relaxed position for your body. Raise one leg on a footstool or toilet seat. Do not rush as the tampon can displace later. insert the tampon slowly and gently.

We all love our bathroom smellies but too much of good thing may not be healthy. Avoid sprays and scented soaps. Soap is really not necessary and along with bubble baths can worsen vaginal dryness. Moisturizers and lubricants are both popular treatments used for vaginal dryness.

Keeping a healthy vagina is part of a regular hygiene regimen. If you notice specks of blood between monthly cycles - see your doctor. Vaginal bleeding is not proof enough to signify something serious is wrong; nonetheless it is in your best interest to ask your GP the reason why.
Is there a specific way the vagina should be washed? No, but there are guidelines you should follow like using products that can irritate the skin or have you suffer an allergic reaction.

Cleansing the vagina is pretty straight forward i.e. warm water and flannel is all that is needed. If the need for lather is your forte then use a special soap for vaginal cleaning. Vinegar is fabulous for refreshing the vagina. Mix vinegar with water for washing. Regular pap smears which screens you for infections or illnesses is not only sensible but great for keeping the vagina in check. Avoid stressful events because they can lead to vaginal infections

Is there such a thing as a perfect vagina? If we knew what a perfect looked like this would be easy to answer. Women differ in shape and build, so therefore vagina`s display small, wide, big, hairy or hairless so how do you tell. If the vagina is healthy - it sure beats perfection hands down.

Breast Enhancements - Different Ways to Increase Your Breast Size

Most women would like to change the size and the shape of their breasts. And while the cosmetic changes are easy to achieve and reverse, if needed, breast augmentation surgery is not for everyone.

Surgical breast augmentation is a substantial investment of time and money, it has a lot of health consequences and the results can never be fully predictable. All together, these factors can make breast augmentation a last resort for those who want to change the size and shape of their breasts.

There are several alternatives that women can try to improve the shape of their breasts before resorting to surgery. These breast enhancement techniques range from breast enhancement creams and pills to easy breast enhancement exercises that tone all of your upper body.

Breast Enhancement Pills

Breast enhancement pills usually offer a combination of several herbal ingredients. Most often, the formula includes fenugreek, saw palmetto, Mexican wild yam, fennel, Dong Quai, damiana, and blessed thistle.

The herbal components of breast enhancement pills start a reaction similar to those that occur during puberty, when women's breast tissue starts to grow. These herbs deliver plant estrogen, which stimulates the growth of the delicate breast tissue from inside by causing hormonal changes. Plant estrogen, as scary and medicinal as it sounds, is a natural product derived from plants and is quite mild.

It may take time to achieve the desired results with breast enhancement pills. Women with small to medium cup size when taking breast enhancement pills usually achieve their optimum results within two months. Some women continue to take breast enhancement pills on an ongoing basis because they notice other positive changes in health.

Herbal remedies, including breast enhancement pills, have many advantages over surgical breast augmentation, due to lower costs, less health risks and fewer side effects.

Breast Enhancement Creams and Lotions

This type of breast enhancement is not the most effective when used on its own. When combined with pills and exercises, breast enhancement creams can yield substantial breast size increase.

Breast enhancement creams act in pretty much the same way that the breast enhancement pills do. Typically breast enhancement cream contains a mix of herbs along with mild chemicals that stimulate the growth of fat cells in the breast without growing fat cells on other parts of the body.

Breast enhancement creams have other cosmetic effects, as they make the breasts firmer and more smooth, enhancing the total look and feel of the breasts.

Breast Enhancement Exercises

Breast enhancement exercises are perhaps the cheapest and most natural method for promoting breast growth although they require a dedicated approach to make them work.

The most popular breast enhancement exercise is a push-up. Here's the right way to do push-ups:

1) Lie facing down on your stomach on a flat surface

2) Bend your knees and cross your ankles.

3) Now start bending your elbows while keeping your palms in line with your shoulders.

4) Remaining balanced on your palms and elbows raise your body - keeping your ankles crossed. This way, you don't raise too much weight. Don't straighten your elbows when raising the body - it may cause damage to your joints.

5) Slowly lower your entire body, but don't lie down. You should decrease the angle only until your arms become in line with the floor.

You should try to repeat push-ups ten times, gradually increasing the repetitions as you get stronger.

Breast enhancement exercises, like any form of exercise, should be performed in sportswear, on a comfortable flat surface. If done without caution, these exercises can strain the muscles, so speak to your doctor first if you have any concerns. Don't push yourself too hard, and stop immediately if you feel unwell, be it pain or tension. Performing these breast enhancement exercises daily, or at least two to three times a week should help you achieve more round "perky" breasts. Plus, it has the added benefit of strengthening your back muscles to help improve your posture, too.

Following an exercise regime that includes push-ups you can also use breast enhancement creams and pills. When all the breast enhancement techniques are used in conjunction with each other, you can achieve optimal results.

Vagina Pain

A 26 year old female complained of vagina pains. Her vulvar pain was so painful that it was difficult to ambulate. During the consultation, the patient fidgeted so much, I knew she was in extreme discomfort. She was unable to have an intimate relationship with her boyfriend and it was adversely affecting them. The constant pain was making it very difficult for her to function in any activity of daily living.

I asked her, "how long has it been since you felt good?" The patient stated, it had been three years, since after she graduated college.

The patient had seen many doctors. No one could give her any explanation for her pain or any lasting relief. She was prescribed pain medication and antidepressants.

It was completely rule out that there were no infections. No sexually transmitted disease, no yeast involvement or human papillomavirus. There was no rare disease or pathology and no obstruction. As a practitioner of the healing arts, many possibilities ran through my head as the cause of the patient's pain. Was it a food allergy, was it a sensitivity to her tampons, or was she allergic to her boyfriend's semen?

My intuition was hinting that the vulvodynia was emotionally in origin. I inquired if there was a trauma three years ago. Often a traumatic event can cause pain and probably can't be seen on an X-ray, ultrasound scan or blood test. The patient denied any trauma, but did mention she broke-up with her fiancee at the time. While there are over a hundred healing techniques available in alternative medicine, I chose N.E.T. (Neuro Emotional Technique) to find the source of this individual's severe pain. Through the process of kinesiology, that is muscle testing, I could access the memory linked to the intense pain.

I had the patient stick out her right arm and tested her strength. Her arm tested strong. Then I had her focus her attention on her vagina. The arm still tested strong. Next, I tested the strength in her left arm, which was also strong. I asked the patient to think of her vagina. This time, her arm went weak! This indicated an emotionally charge memory. With the N.E. T. procedure, it was found that the patient experienced, "low self esteem," after the split with her fiancee three years ago. While the patient did not want this relationship, she still felt many emotions that were unresolved. With the N.E.T. technique, the patient was able to release her feelings about almost getting married. The N.E.T. approach helps release negative memories in the body, mind and spirit.

On the next office visit a week later, the patient stated that her pain had subsided and that she was happy, that she could have sex again. It took several more sessions to completely resolve her symptoms. After six months, the patient is still pain free.
